Live Rooms
Run live sessions inside your community. No Zoom, no app installs, no shared link gymnastics.

What it does
Live Rooms are built on LiveKit — the same infrastructure powering OpenAI's voice mode, Spotify's video chat, and a long list of production WebRTC apps. Members join from the browser, on phone or desktop, with no app to install.
Rooms live inside communities and webinars. Click 'Go live' in admin and members in that community get a notification. Host promote, breakout rooms, polls, waiting room, host-only lock — all built in. Recording starts with one click and lands in the community feed when the session ends.
Permissions follow community roles. Owners and admins can lock the room, end for all, kick or mute participants, and admit from the waiting room. Moderators can mute, kick, and admit. Members join and speak by default unless the host locks the room.
Polls let you read the room mid-session. Breakouts split the room into smaller groups for activities, then auto-recombine. The host can drop into any breakout to check in, or end them all and bring everyone back to the main room.
