Orb Laser Engine

One core. Eight targets. Zero latency. Watch the Ai orb fire.

What it does

The Orb Laser Engine places the Ai core at the center of a radial array of eight module receptors. The orb charges energy and fires laser beams at targets, delivering contacts to each module at the speed of light.

Crank the power slider to control intensity. At low power, the orb fires one beam per cycle. At medium power, two beams fire simultaneously. At high power, three beams fire at once — tripling throughput.

The canvas renders with multi-layered glow effects: beam travel with leading head particles, impact bursts at receptors, and spark showers that scatter on contact. Floating motes drift across the background.

Each receptor has an energy level that builds with hits and decays over time. The charge progress ring around the orb shows when the next volley is about to fire. Module pills and stat blocks track operations.

Key capabilities

Laser Beam Physics

Multi-layered beam rendering with glow, core, travel head, impact burst, and spark shower on every hit.

Power Scaling

Adjust power from 20% to 100%. Higher power fires more beams per cycle and increases cycle frequency.

Charge-Fire Cycle

The orb visibly charges with a progress ring before each volley. Charging speed scales with power level.

Receptor Energy

Each module receptor builds energy when hit and decays over time. Glow intensity reflects current energy level.

Particle System

Floating background motes, spark showers on impact, and beam head particles all render in the canvas.

Radial Layout

Eight receptors arranged in a circle around the central orb with dashed guide lines and directional arcs.
