What it does
The documents module handles the full lifecycle from creation to signature. Upload existing files or generate PDFs from HTML templates using Gotenberg. Store everything in Cloudflare R2 with per-tenant isolation, so each business's files are separate and secure.
E-signatures use a typed-name approach that is legally binding and frictionless. Send a document for signature, the recipient reviews it in the browser, types their name, and the signed copy is stored with a timestamped audit trail. Signature events trigger workflows, so you can automate what happens next.
QR verification codes are embedded in every signed document. Anyone can scan the code to verify the document's authenticity, check the signer's identity, and confirm the timestamp. This adds a layer of trust that is especially valuable for NDAs, agreements, and compliance documents.
The document manager acts as a central file hub. Browse files by type, client, or deal. Preview PDFs and images inline without downloading. Search across all documents with full-text queries. Generate reports, statements, and memos from templates with merge fields that pull CRM data automatically.
